◉L-Shaped Bookend Principle

　Using the “L-shaped bookend principle,” the weight of the water presses against the base of the barrier, converting weight into stabilizing pressure.
　Even when floodwater reaches the top of the barrier, it remains highly stable and will not topple—the higher the water level, the stronger the blocking effect.

　The base of the barrier is lined with memory rubber material (Rubber Compound).
　It not only prevents water seepage but also grips the surface to keep the Flood Guard Barrier more stable.

・The Flood Guard Barrier can be adjusted ±3°. For greater curvature, inner and outer curved barriers can be used.

・Each curved barrier can be adjusted up to 30°. To achieve a 90° angle, three curved barriers are required.

【Installation Steps】
1. Overlap the lower connection slots vertically and align the notches.
2. Insert the pointed end of the barrier panel into the notch.
3. Hook the upper connector from the left side and pull outward to both sides.
4. Pull the hooked part toward the right side to complete the assembly.

Q1. Can the Flood Guard Barrier only be placed on flat ground? What if there are drains, slopes, or cracks in the surface?
　　The Flood Guard Barrier performs best on hard, level ground, but it is not limited to flat surfaces. On uneven ground such as concrete, asphalt, or slopes, it can be paired with accessories like the End Flood Barrier or End Flood Strip to seal gaps. For steeper slopes, Tech Sandbags or ground stakes can be used for reinforcement. On-site SOP guidance is also provided for flexible deployment.

Q2. If the water comes too fast or too strong, can the modular barrier really hold it back?
　　The Flood Guard Barrier is not a permanent levee—it is designed to quickly block initial floodwaters, slow down inundation, and buy time for repairs and evacuation. Field tests have shown that with proper setup, the barrier can remain upright under strong water pressure and effectively divert flow to reduce the risk of collapse.

Q3. How many years can the Flood Guard Barrier be used? Is there a warranty?
　　Tests show the panel structure can be reused for over 5 years, with excellent impact and compression resistance, and it can be stacked for storage. A 5-year warranty is provided, excluding consumable parts such as the End Flood Strip.

Q4. Will the barrier become brittle or deformed after long use?
　　The panel body is made from UV-resistant, industrial-grade high-strength ABS plastic. Unlike cheaper injection-molded products on the market that crack or become brittle after sun exposure, our barriers resist such damage. Still, we recommend storing in a cool, shaded place to avoid direct sunlight. The modular design incorporates stress-guided corners and load-distribution ribs to prevent deformation or misalignment.

Q5. Will training be provided after delivery?
　　Yes. After delivery, we provide on-site instruction by a specialist, an operation manual, and a deployment diagram with recommended drainage points. Simply follow the diagrams and instructions—no engineering background is required for deployment.
