Flood Prevention Footprints

　The WS International team returned to Hsinchu Zoo to install additional flood gates at the elevator entrances, further enhancing the park’s flood resilience and safety.

　As critical infrastructure, elevators are highly vulnerable during floods; water damage can result in costly repairs and, more importantly, compromise personnel safety and emergency evacuation routes. The flood gates—engineered with a high-sealing structure—significantly reduce the risk of leakage, making them especially suitable for protecting key machinery like elevators.

　By continuously improving the zoo’s flood protection infrastructure, WS International helps safeguard the well-being of animals, visitors, and staff, while ensuring the long-term operation of essential facilities. These efforts contribute to a more resilient and sustainable living habitat.
