Flood Prevention Footprints

　WS International returned to Hualien, bringing Flood Guard Barriers to Zhuoxi Township to participate in the local disaster preparedness drill. 

　Located in a mountainous region, the township is prone not only to flooding from heavy rainfall but also to flash floods and muddy water intrusion into residential areas. During the drill, a full-scale emergency response setup was demonstrated, including the establishment of a disaster response center, evacuation shelter, medical station, and the Zhuoqing Village self-defense team—all designed to ensure calm and readiness in the face of disaster.

　Through this joint exercise with the township office, disaster response volunteers, and other units, we helped build a shared understanding of flood preparedness while deepening residents’ familiarity and trust in modern flood protection tools.
